First off there’s this very interesting Black Diamond daisy chain video that’s well worth watching. My advice with daisies is to always shorten then at the harness end anyway (for various reasons – which I’ll write up soon!). Also check out this piece on shovels , followed by this shovels2. Trying to redo my Flickr account, so for starters here's some slide shows: Lafaille, Mermoz and Fitzroy, plus Patagonia 2000 (the worst trip I ever went on!.
